Someone who understands both sides

More confidence.
Fewer loose ends.

You know the event you want to deliver. Sometimes you need someone beside you to confirm the technology can do what you need, help explain the options to your client, or work through the details with a supplier.

I’m Daniel. I can join those conversations, help clarify what is being provided and translate between event requirements and technical language. Then I can help prepare, test and support the practical work that follows.

Whether you’re an event organiser, a committee or an in-house team, we’ll agree on the role you need me to take.

Where I can lend a hand

Support that fits your team.

Bring me in for a specific task or a wider delivery role. We’ll define the responsibilities around your existing team and suppliers.

Client & supplier conversations

Join discussions with your client to explain what the technology can achieve. Work with platform and AV suppliers to confirm requirements, what they’re bringing and how it will fit your event.

Preparation & rehearsals

Review run sheets, meet the AV team, work through presentations with speakers and test the environment. Help turn the plan into a setup the delivery team understands.

Registration desk support

Help set up and check registration technology, computers and printers. Support the team when a connection or practical setup needs attention onsite.

Speakers, slides & AV liaison

Connect speakers, organisers and the AV team. Check and adjust presentations, confirm the session requirements and help keep the technical details clear.

Virtual & interactive sessions

Operate slides, activate polls and interactive elements, and support virtual event delivery. Onsite, help run interactive screens and components alongside the AV team.

Practical problem-solving

Troubleshoot delivery issues with the team or develop a focused tool to remove repetitive work. Where needed, help capture information for reporting and the event wrap-up.

Before we get to event day

Get familiar.
Get prepared. Stay connected.

01 / Talk it through

Understand your event.

Start with a planning conversation: your goals, the team, the systems and anything you’re unsure about. Agree on my role and who I’ll be working with.

02 / Prepare together

Work through the details.

Review run sheets, join supplier discussions and arrange the testing or speaker rehearsals your event needs. Confirm the setup and the handovers.

03 / Support delivery

Be ready to help.

Carry out the agreed role, keep in touch with the team and help work through issues as they arise. Complete any agreed reporting or follow-up afterwards.

Real problems. Practical responses.

What that support looks like.

MMIRA · Reducing repetitive work

A simpler way to prepare event visa letters.

As an international event, MMIRA received many requests for visa support letters. The original process hadn’t captured all the information needed, creating extra work for the team.

I developed a simple program that attendees could access through a provided link to generate their letter. It also recorded each request and maintained a spreadsheet for reporting after the event.

The result: hours saved on repeated administration, with a record the organisers could use.

IQA · Helping beyond the planned task

Getting registration printing more reliable.

I was at IQA to guide AV and check presentations when a network printer started dropping out.

I joined the AV support team to identify the problem. We changed the printer connection method, which reduced the dropouts and made printing more reliable.

It’s how I like to work: notice where the team needs a hand, understand the issue and help find a practical solution.
